Yoobic raises $25m for US expansion

Retail tech startup, Yoobic, has closed a $25 million fundraising round, led by Insight Venture Partners. It will use the cash to expand beyond its home market of Europe to the US.

The company, whose mobile app helps retailers track in-store marketing and merchandising campaigns, was founded in 2014 and has 80 plus customers, including Lacoste, Sweaty Betty, Halfords and Aldi.

Co-founder and CEO, Fabrice Haiat, says: “The digitisation of the store is a priority for every retailer, alongside streamlining internal operational processes and communications to make them more efficient. Opening a new office in New York in September is a milestone in our international expansion. Our priority is to continue improving our solution to help our clients provide their customers with an excellent shopping experience in every store, while making them more profitable.”
