$40 millionDeliverr has closed a $40 million Series C round led by Activant Capital. 

1,300…Courier company Hermes is planning to build a distribution warehouse in Barnsley that will create about 1,300 jobs. 

The 363,000 sq ft (33,724 sq m) depot, named Colossus, will be located in Hoyland near the M1 motorway and handle up to 1.3 million parcels a day.

£3 million…UK-based online marketplace OnBuy.com has secured a £3 million investment from Fuel Ventures.

$36 million…Customer engagement platform startup, Dixa, has closed a $36 million Series B round led by Notion Capital, with participation from existing investors Project A Ventures and SEED Capital.

500,000…CitySprint’s last mile delivery startup, On the dot, has announced that its evening service is nearing half a million deliveries for the 22 retailers currently signed up.

€7.8 billionWorldline is to acquire Ingenico, in a cash and share deal that gives the latter a valuation of €7.8 billion ($8.6 billion) and creates the fourth largest payment services player worldwide.

€11 million…Italian startup Supermercato24 has raised €11 million as it looks to expand in Europe.

€3.7 million…Swedish startup Formulate, which specialises in AI-driven solutions for retail promotions, has closed a late-seed round of €3.7 million, led by henQ and also including Industrifonden and J12 Ventures.
