Yamamay boosts sustainability efforts with Aptos PLM solution
Yamamay, part of Pianoforte Group, has extended its use of Aptos PLM to support the Italian underwear brand’s sustainability initiatives.
It says it will benefit from improved traceability, control and transparency across the entire product lifecycle.
“We have been utilising Aptos PLM for over a decade, and throughout this time, the solution has continued to evolve to support the needs of our business, our customers and the overall retail market,” says Barbara Cimmino, Corporate Social Responsibility Director at Yamamay.
“An example of this is the solution’s ability to support our Group’s commitment to — and our customers’ expectations for — more eco-friendly fashions.”
“By managing all certifications related to materials and components, supporting effective communications with suppliers, and providing on-demand access to critical product information, Aptos PLM helps us achieve optimal transparency over our product development and production processes.”
“This ensures that our end-to-end product lifecycle aligns with our organisational values.”
“The rise of digital first consumers has brought significant disruption to supply chains, and the impact on product design has been extreme,” says Aptos CEO Pete Sinisgalli.
“Brands today are challenged to move faster, delivering highly relevant and differentiated collections, while also prioritising environmental concerns and earning shoppers’ trust.”
“Yamamay is at the forefront in applying business process transformations that support its commitment to quality and sustainability.”
