Farfetch and Snap showcase augmented reality shopping innovation
Snap this week lifted the lid on a virtual try-on partnership with online luxury fashion platform Farfetch.
At the Snap Partner Summit, it brought this to life by featuring three jackets from Off-White, using voice and machine learning powered technology.
Shoppers are able to try on outfits and swap them, using just their voices.

Farfetch also recently launched a virtual try on of watches tool via its iOS app, in a collaboration with Chopard.
This built on a similar offering for sneakers.
“Very proud of the fantastic work we have developed cross-functionally with Creative Operations, Product and Engineering, Retail of the Future, and Commercial teams to bring this augmented reality experience to our customers and brand partners,” Filipa Neto, Senior Innovation Principal at Farfetch, said in a LinkedIn post.
She added: “As part of our Open Innovation strategy, we have partnered with multiple very talented startup teams. You can virtually try on a selection of watches from the Chopard Happy Diamonds collection on our iOS app.”
