Rossmann Hungary enlists RELEX Solutions for supply chain project
Drugstore chain, Rossmann Hungary, is partnering with RELEX Solutions to automate and optimise its end-to-end supply chain.
The retailer will tap RELEX tech for demand forecasting, automatic replenishment, allocations, and promotion forecasting.
The solution will service 240 stores as well as Rossmann’s distribution centre, with the aim of driving improvements to availability, promotion management, and omnichannel operational efficiency.
Prior to partnering with RELEX, Rossmann Hungary relied on its ERP system components, which were prone to performance issues and offered limited functionality, to manage end-to-end supply chain management.
It needed a more robust, automated forecasting and replenishment system in place before its newest distribution centre begins operations in the upcoming years.
RELEX has partnered with Rossmann Germany since 2015 and has driven significantly improved operational efficiencies and processes, including an 85% reduction of in-store availability issues within three months of implementation.
Results such as these led Rossmann Hungary to also get onboard with the company.
“Our colleagues at Rossmann Germany have seen tremendous improvements in their business operations since partnering with RELEX and their success was a considerable factor in our decision,” says Csaba Szuchy, Rossmann Hungary Director of Operations Logistics.
“We are confident in RELEX’s ability to help us as we grow our distribution network. The flexibility and agility of the RELEX solution enables us to react quickly to market changes and provide our customers with an even better level of service.”
“We are delighted to partner with Rossmann Hungary, our first Hungarian customer. The flexibility of our AI-based solution will help them as they grow and expand with the optimisation of their supply chain in Hungary,” says Kinga Wyganowska, Senior Account Executive at RELEX Solutions.
“We are thrilled by the evidence of RELEX’s positive business impact on other Rossmann markets and look forward to expanding our solutions into new territories.”
