BIMANI inks deal with AI merchandise platform Nextail to make smarter inventory choices

Spanish womenswear brand BIMANI has announced a multi-year partnership with AI powered merchandise planning and execution platform Nextail, with the aim of allowing it to make smarter inventory decisions as it scales.

As BIMANI relaunches with a new visual identity this year, the partnership with Nextail will help the company optimise allocation, replenishment, and store transfers across its six locations.

As a result, the brand says it aims to be more agile and data driven without sacrificing its DNA.

“We’re thrilled to welcome BIMANI to the Nextail community,” comments Carlos Miragall, CEO and Co-Founder at Nextail. “2025 is clearly a milestone year for BIMANI. We’re proud to support them as they evolve, with the in-season capabilities needed to match their creativity with operational excellence.”

Nextail, which launched in Spain more than a decade ago, is a fashion specific platform, aiming to help brands and retailers become more responsive.

For BIMANI, the partnership is part of wider plans to expand both inside and outside of the Spanish market.

“We have always aimed to offer timeless fashion that endures, inspires and accompanies women in their everyday lives. But to do that well at scale, you need the right tools,” says Laura Corsini Founder and Creative Director at BIMANI.

“With Nextail, we’re gaining a level of speed and accuracy in decision-making that will allow us to remain close to our customers and stay true to our values – even as we grow.”

The news follows shortly after Nextail partnered with Spanish menswear brand Scotta, aiming to increase sell-through and margins, reduce markdowns and stockouts and improve strategic collaboration across teams.

RTIH AI in Retail Awards

RTIH, organiser of the industry leading RTIH Innovation Awards, proudly brings you the first edition of the RTIH AI in Retail Awards, which is now open for entries.

As we witness a digital transformation revolution across all channels, AI tools are reshaping the omnichannel game, from personalising customer experiences to optimising inventory, uncovering insights into consumer behaviour, and enhancing the human element of retailers' businesses.

With 2025 set to be the year when AI and especially gen AI shake off the ‘heavily hyped’ tag and become embedded in retail business processes, our newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world and the resulting benefits for retailers, shoppers and employees.

Our 2025 winners will be those companies who not only recognise the potential of AI, but also make it usable in everyday work - resulting in more efficiency and innovation in all areas.

Winners will be announced at an evening event at The Barbican in Central London on Wednesday, 3rd September.
