Pureplay Missguided makes paperless returns move
Online fashion retailer Missguided is scrapping the paper from all of its parcels.
This means customers will no longer receive a returns slip with their orders. Instead they will now need to head online with their order number and postcode or email address.
They then select the clothing they want to return, and choose the most convenient method. They can either print a label at home, or generate a QR code that can be scanned and printed in-store. Then it’s off to their nearest drop-off point.
InPost service
InPost recently launched a QR code online returns solution.
The service lets people scan a QR code on their mobile at an InPost locker and put the parcel inside.
Missguided is one of the first UK retailers to introduce the offering to its customers.
Nick Bamber, Chief Growth Officer at Missguided, commented: “We’re really excited to be able to offer our customers even more choice when it comes to returns.”
“Keeping things super simple and convenient for our shoppers is more important than ever, especially given how much of their shopping experience is already on their mobiles.”
“Having the option to send returns back within seconds, using just a phone, is exactly the type of innovation that will appeal to our customer base.”
