€590 million and €8 billion…SumUp, which provides payments services for small merchants, has raised €590 million split evenly between debt and equity at a valuation of €8 billion.
$13 million…BotsAndUs has secured $13 million in seed funding to expand its autonomous logistics solution globally.
Lakestar lead the round, with participation from Maersk Growth, Kindred Capital, and Capnamic.
2,160 and 20…SPAR UK has inked a partnership deal with Deliveroo covering all 2,160 of its stores in England, Scotland and Wales.
Customers will be able to get items delivered to their door by Deliveroo in as little as 20 minutes.
260,000, 142,000, 122,000, 54% and 86%…Jisp’s Scan & Save solution has reached a key milestone across Nisa, Londis, Budgens, Premier and Family Shopper stores in the UK.
Since its launch in September 2021, Scan & Save has achieved 260,000 scans, 142,000 vouchers issued and 122,000 redemptions.
Conversion rates between scan to voucher issued is 54% and voucher issued to redemption is 86%.
Located in the former Baby Gap outlet in Bligh's Meadow, this will be open 7am-11pm, Monday-Sunday.
Like its London counterparts, it is powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology.
To shop, customers scan the QR code from their Amazon app, buy what they need, and walk out.

£575 million and £300 million…Ocado is aiming to raise £575 million from investors to fund the expansion of its technology arm, which enables overseas retailers to sell groceries online.
It has also agreed a new £300 million credit facility with a syndicate of international banks.
5 million…An analysis of the performance of money management apps over the past two years by App Radar has revealed that the sector has gained over five million new Android users in the period 1st January to 7th June 2022.
Seven in ten…Fulfilment – both in terms of delivery and returns - tops shoppers’ considerations when buying online, according to research from Retail Technology Show.
A survey of over 2,000 Brits showed that free delivery was the top reason seven in ten would choose to buy from a retailer online, followed by a simple and easy returns process (40%) and being able to access exclusive deals online that weren’t available in-store (35%).
£1.275 million…London-based Bolt Insight, which helps brands quickly collect market research in 120+ countries, has received £1.275 million investment from VC company 212.
The cash will be used to develop new products for customers, employ new staff in its research and commercial teams, as well as furthering plans for expansion to additional markets.
Bolt Insight, which launched in January 2020, has landed such clients as Vodafone, Capco, Brand Finance, Sodexo, Premier Foods, L’Oreal, Samsung, Diageo and Zeiss.

25…Primark is gearing up to test out a Click & Collect service on children's products in some UK stores.
Owner Associated British Foods (ABF) said the move builds on the launch of a new website earlier this year.
Primark believes Click & Collect has the potential to drive footfall from both existing and new customers to deliver incremental sales in-store.
The trial will take place in up to 25 stores in the northwest of England, starting later this year.
72%…Consumer consciousness around food waste has more than doubled in the past two years as rising food prices, supply chain challenges, the Covid-19 pandemic, and sustainability concerns are impacting shopper behaviour.
Today, 72% of consumers are aware of their food wastage as compared to only 33% before 2020, according to Capgemini Research Institute research which surveyed 10,000 shoppers and executives from 1,000 large organisations in food manufacturing and retail.
2…A second Amazon Style store is set to open during the autumn.
The newest location for the fashion retail concept, which looks to combine the personalisation of e-commerce with the immediacy of bricks and mortar shopping, will be Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Amazon opened the first Amazon Style location in May at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, California.
