Beyoncé fans get taste of checkout free technology at Zippin powered Nissan Stadium stores in Nashville, Tennessee

Here at RTIH, we’re big Beyoncé fans so we always welcome the chance to feature Queen Bey on this site.

Thanks, then, to checkout-free stores firm Zippin, who posted the following tweet on Saturday, ahead of a concert at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee (part of her Renaissance World Tour).

Beyoncé and checkout free stores are not two things we thought we would ever write about in the same article, but, hey, life be crazy sometimes.

Allegiant Stadium

Last week, Zippin announced the opening of six new checkout-free stores at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Launched in collaboration with Levy, the hospitality partner at Allegiant Stadium, these represent an expansion to the existing four Zippin Lanes that were deployed last season.

The Allegiant Stadium has now become the first location in the world with ten checkout-free stores.

“Our partnership with Zippin quickly provided tremendous value for the Las Vegas Raiders," says Team President, Sandra Douglass Morgan.

"We had such success with our first four Zippin Lanes that we decided to expand our investment after just a few home games.”

“We're committed to being at the forefront of technology that delivers exceptional game day experiences and proud to be a pioneer with checkout-free technology as adoption continues to gain speed throughout the sports industry."

"We are proud to expand our partnership with the Las Vegas Raiders and Levy," says Krishna Motukuri, CEO and Co-founder at Zippin.

"Our frictionless shopping experience is helping to revolutionise the way people enjoy live sports and entertainment. We believe our collaboration with the Raiders will set a new standard for checkout-free retail within stadiums and beyond."

Zippin's checkout-free technology will be on display during Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024. More than 65,000 fans from around the world will have the opportunity to experience this way of shopping firsthand.

By tapping a credit card to enter, they can shop for snacks, beverages, and merchandise and be back in their seats quickly.
