Fashion technology startup Raspberry AI appoints Daniel Sternberg as VP of Engineering
Daniel Sternberg has joined Raspberry AI, a generative AI platform for fashion creatives working with the likes of Under Armour, MCM Worldwide, Gruppo Teddy and Li & Fung, as VP of Engineering.
His CV includes stints as Head of Data & AI at Notion and Advisor at Fabi.ai.
In a LinkedIn post, he said: "Raspberry’s AI design assistant helps fashion and retail teams bring ideas to life and go from design to production faster while reducing waste."
"Raspberry already supports everything from garment and pattern design to marketing and photoshoots, covering a wide range of creative workflows that have never had great software behind them. It’s a huge opportunity to transform a space that’s long been underserved by technology."
"After spending the past few years building AI tools for creativity and knowledge, I wanted to be somewhere that combined deep technical challenge with tangible creative impact, in a space that will be transformed by new AI capabilities that expand creative potential and reshape how people work.”
He added: “From my first conversation with Cheryl Liu (Founder and CEO), I was struck by her thoughtfulness, knowledge, and drive, and by the culture she’s building: one that values high performance and inclusion, where engineers and designers build side by side to push the boundaries of creative technology."
"I couldn’t be more excited to help scale what Raspberry is building and to work alongside such a talented, curious, and kind team. We’re just getting started! And yes, we’re hiring!"

As we witness a digital transformation revolution across all channels, AI tools are reshaping the omnichannel game, from personalising customer experiences to optimising inventory, uncovering insights into consumer behaviour, and enhancing the human element of retailers' businesses.
With 2025 set to be the year when AI and especially gen AI shake off the ‘heavily hyped’ tag and become embedded in retail business processes, our newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world and the resulting benefits for retailers, shoppers and employees.
Our 2025 winners will be those companies who not only recognise the potential of AI, but also make it usable in everyday work - resulting in more efficiency and innovation in all areas.
Winners will be announced at an evening event at The Barbican in Central London on Thursday, 29th January. This will kick off with a drinks reception in the stunning Conservatory, followed by a three course meal, and awards ceremony in the Garden Room.
