AdTech specialist GoWit follows funding round with launch of free self-service retail media integration

GoWit has launched a self-service integration solution that, it says, will allow retailers to set up its retail media advertising (RMA) platform in just 15 minutes for free.

Retailers will have access to the entire offering that includes:

  • Targeting capabilities that deliver personalised ads to high intent shoppers using first-party data insights on user behaviour and preferences.

  • GoWit’s Sponsored Banners and Sponsored Product Ads boost brand awareness, product visibility and sales.

  • Intuitive dashboard, Retail Media Academy and documentation are available to ensure a full self-service experience.

  • Retailers and brands can track advertising campaign performance in real-time, gaining valuable insights to make data-driven decisions and optimise their ad strategies.

Central to GoWit’s new self-service feature is the SDK code library, which allows retailers to easily integrate the company’s functionalities into their websites, skipping labour intensive server side integration. By embedding pre-written code, they can send requests to GoWit’s ad server, display the relevant ads, and track events.

This capability means the integration can be completed in 15 minutes, while launching an ad campaign and earning revenue can take just a few seconds.

The entire GoWit onboarding process is automated and self-service, allowing retailers to avoid contacting the company, arranging a demo and waiting for their project to be created.

They can do it all themselves, on their own time, and see no disruption to their existing technology stack.

Furthermore, GoWit says that it offers flexible pricing tiers and retailers will automatically start on a free tier, meaning they don’t need to pay to run retail media ads.

Funding round

GoWit recently secured $1.3 million in funding to help drive expansion across Europe and MENA.

In this investment round, it received support from existing investors Formus Capital (based in the USA), APY Ventures, and Mindvest, while welcoming DCP as a new backer.

It followed a $1 million investment announced last year, which has helped the US headquartered company to grow its teams in the UK, France, the Netherlands, and the Middle East.
