Yael Kochman says bye bye to buywith and looks to collaborate with founders and scaling companies
Yael Kochman has left video commerce platform buywith where she served as CBO.
In a LinkedIn post, she said: “After an incredible journey helping build one of the most innovative companies in the retail tech space, it's time for my next chapter. During my time at buywith, I had the privilege of working with some of the smartest, kindest, and most passionate people I’ve met.”
“We brought video commerce to life in ways few imagined possible - launching new formats, landing major global partnerships, and most recently, pioneering a new category: AI powered video for retail media. I joined buywith when the vision was bold but the roadmap still uncertain. Since then, we’ve: Opened new markets and verticals; Signed enterprise clients in record time; Built powerful AI tech from scratch; Launched a new brand; Learned a lot, and still learning.”
She added: “It’s been a wild, rewarding ride, and I’m so proud of the impact we’ve made. Adi Ronen (CEO and Co-founder) and Eyal Sinai (CTO and Co-founder), I want to thank you for the trust you put in me to help lead the marketing, business development and customer relations. It was a pleasure working with you and I wish you both the best of luck going forward!”

Kochman will now be taking some time to reflect, explore, and connect with people building the future of retail, commerce, and tech. “I’m especially excited to collaborate with bold founders, or scaling companies looking to break through,” she said. “If you’re working on something innovative and want a sparring partner, advisor, builder, or just someone to roll up their sleeves and help you grow - I’d love to talk.”

RTIH, organiser of the industry leading RTIH Innovation Awards, proudly brings you the first edition of the RTIH AI in Retail Awards, which is now open for entries.
As we witness a digital transformation revolution across all channels, AI tools are reshaping the omnichannel game, from personalising customer experiences to optimising inventory, uncovering insights into consumer behaviour, and enhancing the human element of retailers' businesses.
With 2025 set to be the year when AI and especially gen AI shake off the ‘heavily hyped’ tag and become embedded in retail business processes, our newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world and the resulting benefits for retailers, shoppers and employees.
Our 2025 winners will be those companies who not only recognise the potential of AI, but also make it usable in everyday work - resulting in more efficiency and innovation in all areas.
Winners will be announced at an evening event at The Barbican in Central London on Wednesday, 3rd September.
