Company veteran Jacobe Hollins steps into new role as Senior Technical Product Manager at McDonald's
Jacobe Hollins has taken on a new role as Senior Technical Product Manager at McDonald's.
He has been with the fast food giant for almost eleven and a half years, and previously served as Global Technical Product Manager.
In a LinkedIn post, he said: “In this role, I oversee multiple product areas across Enterprise Products and Platforms, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Data Modernisation, Restaurant Employee Optimisation, and People focused technology solutions. My portfolio includes products like Net Zero Cloud by Salesforce, Digital Food Safety, Managed Tech Programs, PerkSpot (employee discounts), Restaurant Experience Surveys, Recognition Programs, and our GM Self-Reflection Tool.”
He added: “On the ESG front, our team came together to redefine how we build and deliver value through an empowered product model. We structured our work through the triad framework of product management: I’ve led value and viability, while collaborating closely with peers driving desirability and feasibility. Together, we’ve built a strong partnership with our business stakeholders, creating a co-creation environment that fuels both innovation and accountability.”
“We successfully delivered our MVP for ESG Data Modernisation, with additional releases planned before the end of the year, a major milestone for data integrity, automation, and visibility across McDonald’s global sustainability ecosystem.”
Hollins concluded: “Across the broader portfolio, our Managed Tech Programme has expanded to bring more digital capabilities into restaurants, enabling employees to better leverage technology in their day-to-day operations.”
“Our Digital Food Safety and Restaurant Experience Survey teams are driving key initiatives that strengthen our restaurant culture and empower our people. It’s been an exciting ten months, leading a talented team of Product Managers, a Product Analyst, and development partners to deliver value across McDonald’s. Grateful for the journey so far and excited for what’s ahead.
2025 RTIH INNOVATION AWARDS
Data transformation projects will be a key focus area at the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards. which are now closed for entries with our finalists and shortlists being announced last week, celebrate global tech innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our 2024 hall of fame entrants were revealed during an event which took place at RIBA’s 66 Portland Place HQ in Central London on 21st November, and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by comedian Lucy Porter
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “The event is now into its sixth year and what a journey it has been. The awards started life as an online only affair during the Covid outbreak, before launching as a small scale in real life event and growing year on year to the point where we’re now selling out this fine, historic venue.”
He added: “Congratulations to all of our finalists. Many submissions did not make it through to the final stage, and getting to this point is no mean feat. Checkout-free stores, automated supply chains, immersive experiences, on-demand delivery, next generation loyalty offerings, inclusive retail, green technology. We’ve got all the cool stuff covered this evening.”
“But just importantly we’ve got lots of great examples of companies taking innovative tech and making it usable in everyday operations - resulting in more efficiency and profitability in all areas.”
Congratulations to our 2024 winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Lucy Porter, and all those who attended November's gathering.
