RTIH Innovation Awards: UK retail technology implementation of the year shortlist announced
Pets at Home, Currys, Skinnydip London and Astrid & Miyu are among the nominees in the Technology Implementation of the Year (UK) category at the 2022 RTIH Innovation Awards.
This award recognises UK retail technology project excellence, both in delivery and outcomes.
Implementation should have been completed between November 2021 and November 2022.
Judges will be looking for clear project objectives, effective and innovative implementation and tangible and demonstrable results.

Astrid & Miyu/LoyaltyLion
Working with LoyaltyLion Astrid & Miyu has achieved impressive loyalty programme related results.
boohoo/Akeneo
boohoo group, says that it has improved operational efficiency and speed to market, with a product information management solution from Akeneo.
Currys/Movable Ink
Over the last few years, Currys has gone through a massive digital transformation journey, including an email initiative involving Movable Ink.
Motor Fuel Group/TLM Technologies
Shortlisted for completion of roll-out of TLM’s evoBackOffice solution to the MFG (Motor Fuel Group) estate of 900+ stores.
Pets at Home/TPP Retail
For many years, Pets at Home has invested in providing store colleagues with technology solutions to help serve customers’ pet care needs. This resulted in store teams having multiple devices and many different technologies to use.
The objective of the shortlisted project was to re-imagine the store colleague experience and introduce a new solution based on creating a single device experience with a suite of in-house developed applications for customer facing and operational needs.
The Pets at Home team, with the support of technology partner, TPP Retail, has developed and delivered an entire software product from scratch within 18 months. Leveraging a single solution for all in-store applications, including apps to support buying a pet or joining a flea-subscription programme.
Skinnydip London/Wunderkind
Skinnydip London has enhanced its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) operations, as well as growing new category engagement, by partnering with Wunderkind.
VST/dunnhumby
In March, VST and dunnhumby launched Planogram Publisher – software that makes Tesco’s planogram data accessible to CPG brands in the UK.
