Including Vinted Go and Shoeby: 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards supply chain finalists announced

We’re pleased to announce the shortlist for the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards Supply Chain category.

We received a record number of entries this year and many fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times.

It’s now over to our judging panel who will decide the winners to be announced at the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards ceremony, taking place  at The HAC in Central London.

The event will be held on Thursday, 16th October and consist of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

Our 2025 runners and riders as follows:

Belle AI

The retail industry has undergone a rapid transformation with the rise of e-commerce, leading to a massive increase in product variety and customer purchasing frequency. Bloq.it and Vinted Go

Bloq.it, founded in 2019, is a smart locker company providing end-to-end solutions for global retailers and logistics operators. Working with partners such as DHL eCommerce, Vinted Go, and GLS, Bloq.it combines hardware and software with deployment services on a single platform to process 100 million+ shipments to date.

Its flagship collaboration with Vinted Go has deployed over 5,000 lockers since its launch in 2022, enabling 50 million+ transactions for Vinted users alone. Bloq.it has since achieved a 73,083% growth over just four years, landing in the top three of Deloitte’s EMEA Technology Fast 500 and on the Sifted 100 for France and Southern Europe.

Dropit

Dropit enhances retail inventory decision-making with an AI powered platform for optimal inventory planning, allocation, and logistics.

Shoeby and WAIR

Shoeby transformed its replenishment and allocation by deploying WAIR’s AI Replenisher across 240+ stores and online. Within 12 months, Shoeby boosted sell-through, reduced end-stock by 2%, and grew total revenue by 3% - while operating with a lean team of just six merchandisers.

The AI shifted replenishment from static min/max rules to store-level, SKU-specific predictions, increasing turnover by 4% and lifting EBITDA through lower markdowns and better working capital efficiency. What started as a pilot became the backbone of Shoeby’s omnichannel supply chain, powering profitable international expansion and proving that AI can deliver concrete, measurable results in fashion retail.

Uber Direct and TradeKart

Uber Direct and TradeKart are partnering to improve the purchasing experience in the trade sector, providing tradespeople with a rapid delivery service. 

Local and national merchants can now use the combination of Uber’s white label technology and TradeKart’s app-based marketplace to offer an on-demand or scheduled delivery, additional to standard delivery. When placing orders online, customers can conveniently choose to receive trade items in as little as 30 minutes or a specified scheduled delivery time. 

The partnership has enabled TradeKart to evolve from their local delivery service into a national offering that meets the demands of the next generation of tradespeople.
